Is this part of their Great Replacement theory?

He’s concerned with all the states.

It takes centuries to build the unique character of each state. But reckless migration policy can change it quickly and permanently. Just like we’ve seen in London, and Paris, and Minneapolis.

I guess you could call Georgia eastern European? I would say central Asian, but apparently both are acceptable. Still, feels weird…

It wouldn’t be a huge surprise if some of the people he is hoping for are the same ones who were waiting for Red Dawn to break out when the Russian invasion of Georgia went from arms-length-control-of-local-proxy to tanks-in-the-streets in 2008; so this seems unlikely to be a terribly costly error. Still stupid, of course.

… maybe if we call Europe “western Asia”

An argument could be made. But continents are cultural constructs anyway.

Continents… don’t get me started on the hectic pace of plate tectonics.

… I just meant Georgia looks like “western Asia” rather than “central”

To be fair, it is a picture of a countryside. It isn’t a picture of a map of Georgia. This isn’t even the stupidest thing Trump has done today.

In his defense, this is an example of him being a very typical representation of his constituency. How many of his core supporters don’t know the difference either?

All the paranoia, racism, confused ideas about government. He is so close to winning because so many voters share those same views. He’s here as a reflection of ourselves.

I believe we can do better as a people. But I’m not sure we can do better in the next few weeks. After all racism is hundreds of years old, and previous generations have put some effort into correcting it. We probably won’t eliminate it entirely but we do need to remove racism for the equation of politics as soon as possible.

Sure. It’s not like he ever had a job where some basic geopolitical knowledge was required to make decisions or something.

Unnecessary.

45 doesn’t pay his lawyers or anyone else; he already has people ‘defending’ him for free.

Well he was fired from that job. But like my friend Jim, he reapplied shortly after being fired, even after demonstrating that he wasn’t responsible enough to do the work.

I’m only aware the “immigrants” causing this damage are the oligarchs hiding their wealth in these places and causing the housing crisis for the local while contribute nothing to the local community. If that is the case, I totally agree with him. /S
