Except, there’s no virgin, no dragon, no village, no Democratic Party, no GOP, if Trump gets us involved in a nuclear war. There’s no “sacrifice” going on by realizing Pence is a better alternative to Trump. What’s your alternative? A coup d’etat? For the next 4 years less 112 days we’re going to suffer under Trump and/or Pence. Those are the rules.
Actually, that’s exactly what he is. The nation can easily survive a Pence. He cannot topple the government. And he wouldn’t even conceive of doing so. He can achieve all his policy objectives (banning abortion, cutting taxes severely, cutting all benefits to middle and lower classes severely, rolling back all “culture war” gains, caving in to fossil fuel industry and big corporations) completely legally.
