So what’s Trump’s favorite film? “Home Alone 2” ?
There’s only rumor and hearsay from what I’ve seen. We don’t exactly get transparent health news from the medical staff of either party for the POTUS. I remember people jumping on his doctor saying a chest X-ray was “as expected” or something instead of “normal” implying there might be damage.
I’m surprised I haven’t heard much talk about unknown Covid issues being a preexisting condition if Trumps lawsuit or a Republican Congress prevails.
Watch them squirm! I can’t wait to see Trump’s face when the race is called for Biden, he’s exhausted all his tricks and the jig is finally up. We’ve been waiting for that sad trombone moment for 4 LOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGG years.
There’s always faithless electors. He’s already approaching the states for this purpose, and Mark Levin is apparently stoking the fire.
That’s sowing a kind of division I don’t think they’re ready for the consequences of.
Which is why 270 isn’t enough. Can’t give up on PA or GA as that would be the insurance against 1 or 2 faithless electors.
Fortunately SCOTUS ruling upheld State’s laws to punish and remove faithless electors but it only directly applies to 15 states. It’s another battleground that this country is simply not prepared to deal with.
Thirty-two states have some sort of faithless elector law, but only 15 of those remove, penalize or simply cancel the votes of the errant electors. The 15 are Michigan, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Indiana, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, Washington, California, New Mexico, South Carolina, Oklahoma and North Carolina. Although Maine has no such law, the secretary of state has said it has determined a faithless elector can be removed.
Monday’s Supreme Court decision, however, is so strong that it would seem to allow states to remove faithless electors even without a state law. Duke University School of Law professor Guy-Uriel Charles said that nonetheless, it would be prudent for states to pass laws to prevent electors from going rogue.
They are the 43% who consider him their infallible Lord and savior. As such, it is obvious whatever he does is the best it can be done. Q.E.D. (/s just in case)
And put into real terms, 67 Million Americans apparently believe Trump is such a great President that he deserves another term. That’s scary AF!
The test could be “Did you vote for Trump?”
Nah, such tests are too easy to manipulate, which is why it’s a good thing not to have a test.
Not necessarily. It might just be that they threw everything from the pharmacy plus the kitchen sink at him on the off-chance because he’s POTUS, which happens to make him the doctors’ boss’s boss’s boss (and in a military setting to boot) and thus might perhaps give him some influence over his own treatment, as in “Fix me up, I got rallies to go to”.
For example, an antiviral like remdesivir (which we’re told Trump got) works best in the early stages of COVID-19 when one’s problem actually is the virus rather than the complications and one’s own overreacting immune system. The main reasons we don’t give a course of remdesivir to everyone who has just been tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 are
- The stuff is quite expensive;
- There wouldn’t be enough of it to go around, and
- Most positively-tested people end up with a mild case or no COVID-19 symptoms at all and wouldn’t need an expensive and rare drug in the first place.
Presumably if you’re POTUS and thus a Very Important Person, then the first two caveats won’t apply to you, so your medicine cabinet might be stocked a little differently than Joe Q. Public’s.

Georgia is within 4,000 votes! Georgia!!!

Mitch McConnell is already preparing to torpedo Joe Biden’s Cabinet picks
If there is anything we’ve learned it’s that Mitch the Bitch (and the republicans in general) don’t give a rats ass about how they look to anyone but their most degenerate supporters. They only care if they can increase their power and inflict injury and death on anyone who doesn’t cow-tow to them.
Do you want a civil war? Because that’s how you get a civil war.
Hmmm. That’d be a good thing to tell them, but I can’t see whatever constitutes the left in the U.S. fighting back in a way that could be fairly called a civil war.
Thanks a bunch.
