The maps I’ve seen show Texas has by far the most potential for wind power generation. Anyone who isn’t motivated by pure reactionary self-harm would be embracing wind power there. The economics of it dwarf their oil&gas holdings.

The big problem with that though is the grid not being connected to the national grid. They’re not going to sell anything generated out of state.
