I suspect the line will be that 1) the shooter was unsuccessful because he killed himself because he knew someone in the crowd would shoot him or 2) the shooter was secretly killed by an armed Trump supporter, but the deep state covered it up.
They are relatively impenetrable to any view that does not suggest the need for more guns.
