The mail will also let you vote without having to risk being late for a job you can’t afford to lose. The mail will let you vote without using money you don’t have to pay for public transportation. The mail you let you vote regardless of how many privileges you don’t have.

Except that that’s exactly what it is. The GOP is desperate to stop everyone except its Faithful from voting. That’s why they’ve been gerrymandering and arguing that the weird boundaries are protected because they are “only” for ensuring that Republicans are elected. That’s why they’ve thrown millions of likely Democratic voters off of the rolls and closed polling places in Black and Hispanic precincts. That’s why Trump demanded that a couple new polling stations in Black neighborhoods be shut down and votes from them not counted.
The GOP knows that this is the only way they can stay in power, and they’re loud and upfront about it.
