Presumably hard hats would also be part of safety features for VIPs, given that they’re mandatory for the space. But, again, only a few people are actually even wearing the goggles, so none of it makes sense, really.

Also, it turns out that Trump could have visited an identical factory of the same company on the East coast but flew across the country to visit one in a red state…

True, although I think that error is nonsystematic, which means frequently taking tests for yourself, at least, is probably getting you to a pretty good confidence interval. It’s just that Trump is the only human being in the country who can test himself as easily and as often as he picks his nose.

So you’re right, it’s not a dead certainty. But what is a dead certainty is he thinks he’s safe, which means all the rest of us can pound sand.
