Ole Foul Ron was certainly one of my inspirations! Like OFR himself, the intent was the NPC actually would give cryptic clues to quests in the area, albeit buried in a mound of other nonsense. Unfortunately life got in the way, so I never implemented the quests, although the last time I was on the MUD, I was pleased to see the NPC was still roaming around the Sto Plains.
Of course the fact that the NPCs strange ramblings were intended to contain something actually useful, even if that was never completed, puts her several layers up on Trump. His babbling has never been intended to contain anything useful or benevolent.
