If Mueller gets a mind to either get SDNY or take a pass himself at the handling of Epstein’s trial, I am so excited at what might shake out of that. I’d bet Epstein would sell out a lot of people to get out of life in the clink. The more I read about the various connections to Epstein the more tinfoil-hat insane his story becomes.
Apparently they have even more tapes ready to go that relate to Carlson’s views on “race and ethnicity” which will be released tomorrow to target ad buyers who will be meeting with Fox News executives on Wednesday. This should be interesting.

Trump was briefly being sued for rape at casa Epstein before it was mysteriously discontinued. With the initial filing, the plaintiff’s affidavit was filed along with a witness’. Suffice to say that I found them credible.
That said, I’m too cowardly to state to what extent I believe the liklihood of Trump raping an underage woman at Epstein’s. But if pushed, I’d say I’d find it probable.
“Said something naughty” is the new euphemism for “Christ, what an asshole,” I guess.
So, all this is less “leaked” tapes and more like Fox “marketing”.
It’s Media Matters that did the research and released the tapes. They don’t pretend to be a dispassionate or neutral media outlet, they’re a nonprofit organization “dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media.”
As such, they’re intentionally and explicitly timing the release to hit Fox where it hurts when it comes to ad revenue for Carlson’s show.

Ivanka is his daughter from his first marriage to Ivana. In that clip, he was speculating about his infant daughter Tiffany’s future physique… considering how he seems to ignore her now, I guess she just didn’t grow up to be “hot enough.”

I’m not. Based upon everything I know about him, I’d be very surprised if the revelation of raped underage children and dead bodies are not forthcoming before this mess is all said and done.

Yes know the source but, it seems counter effective. The very things Media Matters is calling him out for is what draws his audience in to watch. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.
I think the idea isn’t to get Carlson’s fans to stop watching, it’s to get the sponsors to pull out based on fear of boycotts from customers who aren’t fans of Carlson or his shenanigans.

In the run up to the election I think it was one where a girl’s story just didn’t hold water after scrutiny by both sides. Smoke but, no fire.
Ahhhh, OK. I remember that one now. Where at the very last minute (like couple days) before election she dropped the case and interviews claiming death threats.

It didn’t so much mysteriously discontinue as the accuser and witness evaporated. The case was dismissed as it was filed improperly, refiled then dismissed for technical reasons, then refiled, dropped, refiled, then dropped. The attorney running the suit was a patent attorney from a different state who’d never met his client or the witness face to face, and no journalist was able to locate either or arrange a meet or confirm existence or identity even with promises of anonymity. Lisa Bloom, a lawyer who had represented 2 of Trump’s other accusers, became the accusers new lawyer. Refiled, and called a press conference for the accuser to come forth publicly. The accuser pulled a no show at the press conference. And it is not clear that Bloom had met her face to face either. Everyone involved with the case appears to have only spoken with her and the witness over the phone. The witness claimed to be a former Trump employee, but again noone was able to locate her, confirm an identity, or confirm if anyone of the sort had worked with Trump at the time. And its unclear if anyone had met said witness.
Before the suits were filed the story and the accuser had been pitched to news orgs and tabloids by a reality TV producer with a reputation for pushing false stories on the press. The filings themselves were inconsistent as to the accusations. The cases were dismissed multiple times. The final version dropped twice.
There’s plenty mysterious about that particular story. But what happened to the case isn’t. And I wouldn’t exactly call any of it credible.
that’s where i stopped listening, when he went full trump. does he not realize how disgusting and demeaning he is being? Ever since Trump, people are okay coming out of the awful people closet and being openly awful humans, bleck.
These tapes are from 2009. Apparently after he worked at MSNBC but before he was hired by Fox.
So I don’t think you can blame this gross on Trump.
