Unhinged Trump coronavirus briefing: 'There will be death,' says 1,000 military personnel going to NY

Twitter I get, it’s like a sound bite, condense information delivered quickly. What’s confusing to me is blog postings that are followed by 20 tweets that retell what was just said in the post.

Yes. A movie poster of Trump’s cough presidency could look like The Empire Strikes Back except it’s The 1980s Strike Back (or Revenge of the 80s) with Trump and his cronies as the bad-guy Emperor and aliens.

Based on my medical expertise (I watch CSI Miami reruns like Brian Kemp), I can confidently posit the slurring is a direct result of drug-drug interaction. If I was to guess, he’s downing a daily cocktail of

  • Advil
  • Sudafed
  • Adderall
  • Desoxyn
  • chloroquine
  • mefloquine
  • doxycycline (just in case)
  • amoxicillin (you know why)
  • Aricept
  • viagra
  • colloidal silver
  • colloidal gold (just in case)
  • prep H
  • milk of magnesium

It’s really impressive he can stand.

Edit : I neglected to mention the shungite suppositories but should now include for completeness.

“I like this stuff. I really get it…People are really surprised I understand this stuff. Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability.” Donald Trump

You just can’t make this shit up. The sheer absurdity combined with fear, but also laughter because how can you not laugh at this utterly transparent imbecile?

I am astounded every day that a human being exists that can be this completely self absorbed and insulated from reality by his own stupidity and narcissism

He’s like a living cartoon character, completely unaware he’s a joke created by a cruel universe

Well said. The day he was elected I thought of Peter Sellers’ ‘Being There’. That said I would take Chauncey Gardiner over Trump as POTUS any day of the week…

Did anyone else hear that in Princess Leias hologram voice?

I always figured Trump’s information about the world stopped getting updated in the '80s, and/or his dementia erased the last 30 years, but…

Yeah, but often in a highly specific way, responding to situations that hadn’t been true in 30 years, seemingly unaware of things that existed in recent decades that every human being alive could be expected to have some familiarity with, etc.

Yeah, the evidence I’ve seen (which is weak) is that when given to mild cases, it speeds up recovery. That’s it. The president is continuing to treat it like a miracle cure because he doesn’t want any of this to be real or his botched response to have actual consequences.

If the stories and speculation I’m reading about the current federal response is true, wrt. supplies being confiscated from states and auctioned off, a number of people in this administration are going to need to go to jail.

So far only indirectly…

Think of it this way: the vast majority of us are good, peaceful, law-abiding people who just want to live our lives and keep our families safe.

The alternative would be that some crazy, violent person tried to assassinate Mass Murderer Trump, creating fear, unrest, and even more law enforcement lawlessness than now exists. Violence really does beget more violence.

It’s what they’re for. Blue on Blue, a US speciality for 100 years. Just ask for ‘Uncle Sam’, the doorman knows what you want.

The endless cult of personality, the servile hangers-on and the endless stream of tissue-thin lies - he’s like Kim Jong Un - only more orange and with worse hair.

Your first sentence is exactly how I’ve found your people to be, especialy outwith the USA itself.

I’ve even had a lot of fun with your Coastguard and Customs people. On arrival to the US by ship my Captain and Chief engineer would always tell me to not be my usual bolshie self with them but they would sometimes be cool and we could enjoy the absurdity of the situation. These guys are mostly human too. The other guys keep to the rules and thats jake with me. We all want to go home at the end of the day and get paid again tomorow.

Took a holiday to Florida and was not looking forward to the driving. Auto and Left hand drive! I found it the most relaxing drive I’d ever had (after my first encounter with the right lane suddenly disappearing (wtf is that about!) and the trip across to Cape Carnaveral was totaly uneventful. Year later on I had an unusual job for a few weeks in Wisconsin. The furthest I had ever been from an ocean whilst on land. (I’ve flown coast to coast a few times joining and leaving ships that to my mind doesn’t count). The people I was working with had every right to be resentful of my presence if they had a mind to it. To their everlasting credit they were wonderful, kind hearted and welcoming people, just like their German families from the old country were to my father in the 60’s.

Cut to the chase of this rambling, How the did you end up being represented by such unrepresentative people? It beggars belief that this could happen in the media age. Everyone down to the most isolated peasant on the planet know what is occurring in real time.

I love that, but Scott Adams has both become the pointy-haired boss and gone full in on Trump.

I know, I always thought that the hero in the strip was Dilbert, but it seems that Adams is actually a huge admirer of know-nothing bosses. This is the picture that I got this from, showing the two of them together: Trump the Chump

Yes! He’s the Pointy Hair Boss from Dilbert!
