I know Cosby’s has been defaced. I am sure others have, but yes, Trump through his own actions is a lightning rod.
I don’t really consider his contributions to be star worthy, but at the same time, it is bringing people and money to the attraction, which is the whole point of the attractions, right?
But as you said, it doesn’t make vandalism “OK”. Maybe a petition to remove it. Though, again, a tourist attraction’s job is to attract people. So maybe the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce doesn’t care if people are coming to piss on it or not - as long as they come and buy a coffee and scone while they are out.
It’s a stretch of sidewalk about a mile and a half long. I’m sure the LAPD has better things to do than making sure some douchbag’s vanity plaque doesn’t get scuffed up.
Eh, at this point it doesn’t matter. We’re done in a week, everyone’s already made up their mind - unless they’re some kind of weirdo - and we’ll be over this shit. Finally.
Yep, you can also go stand next to Marilyn Monroe’s footprints in front of the Chinese Theatre while you’re in the area. A lot of the touristy stuff around LA is technically free, but you’ll often pay through the nose for parking.
I appreciate the intended statement about trump behind that graffiti, but isn’t the reverse swastika pretty much only used as a religious symbol? Common people, if you are going to do something, do it right!
I suppose I’ll incur even more unsolicited criticism from the peanut gallery for stating that I don’t drive, either. (Not because I’m such a ‘tree-hugging hippie’ but because I never bothered to replace the last vehicle, after it was stolen in broad daylight.)
