“Remove the removables!” is a weird rallying cry to stake your reinstatement effort on but hey what do I know.

I don’t care. I’ll watch all this shit sometime after he’s dead.

Life is too precious to waste on pathetic worthless losers like trump.

It is widely suspected that ~66% of congressional republicans are betting heavily on trump falling down the stairs, stroking out, dying on the toilet, choking on a burger, having a massive coronary, (“ok that’ll do.” But i was having so much fun!)… and until then making like they admire him to sucker in the morons so can then declare they’re trumps heir-apparent. What’s notably traitorous is they don’t care one tiny whit if their wager goes wrong and the country ends up with senileHitler. (“calling Godwin! clean up in aisle 66!”) -sigh-

When Trump dies, otherwise removes himself, or is removed, the speed of the Republican pivot will need to be measured with the best instruments for particle physics.

No, they’re sucking up to him because they BELIEVE EXACTLY WHAT HE DOES, but know they can’t say it out loud. That’s why while they would love to declare themselves heir when he exits, they’re also perfectly happy with him saying the stuff they can’t say.

There isn’t going to be a pivot. They’re going to just find someone worse.

I’m not sure about that. His supporters will still be there. Right-wing politicians will “channel” Trump: whatever they want will be “what Trump would have wanted.” They will never disown Trump. He will have become part of their “heritage.”

I think the video is interesting becase the question of whether Trump has dementia is very important.

IF Trump does have dementia, and there’s been speculation since 2015, he’ll have good days and bad days but the degradation will be apparent.

But I honestly thought he had some dementia in 2015, but in October 2020 he put in a competent (for Trump) 2nd debate performance, and if he’d been declining in 2015 I don’t think he would have been at that level in 2020 so I was probably wrong.

But if he has dementia now, well he’s probably not coherent in 2024, meaning he’s not running (or it will be even weirder than his last campaign) and the mini-Trumps will be fighting to become his successor.

Whomever succeeds Trump as leader of the GOP might dictate whether the US survives as a democracy.

Not unless their base change (what’s left of) their minds first. Trump is the new Reagan: the sterling example of what to emulate – and take to new heights of absurdity – in order to appeal to the typical GOP voter. And God or whatever have mercy on us all.

The scary part is that most Republicans now consider Reagan having been too liberal.

Just like they [GOP] channeled Reagan the Trickle Down Clown for 30 years.

I am not looking forward to the GOP falling over themselves to name EVERYTHING after Trump once he’s gone. Perhaps they will rename Yo Semite National Park the Trump National park-casino-stripmine.

Sure, but I think at that point Trump will be a name and nothing more. Republicans are after all tremendous fans of Jesus, so long as you ignore what he did, what he said, and who he was.

Is that where Palestinians and Jews who get along have their meetups?

Yo yo yo, fellow Semite!

It’s 2021, we already voted on this, and the “never need to hear anything more about Trump” camp won. So why am I even watching this?

I think the clip is too short to make any fair assessment. Still, he does look tired and depressed.

No one said you had to, and I didn’t either. But given that a hell of a lot of people are still going along with Tromp’s claims that he’ll be reinstated soon, and that the 2020 election was the biggest crime in US history, it’s good to hear of a decline in his personal energy and appeal.

Because you clicked it?

And 2022 is around the corner and Trump’s still the leader of the republican party.
