That it’s finally (just barely starting to be) OK to be honest.

Seems to me that “god” should be perfectly capable of speaking for him or herself; no middleman needed.

And neither of them is capable of using a different device. It’s not like a burner device is a ubiquitous concept in our society…

Mike concludes his message with the question, “DOES AMERICA NEED MORE GOD?” If you click the link, you’ll instead learn that “MIKE NEEDS MORE MONEY.”

He has that in common with televangelists. Per George Carlin, the evangelicals’ God may be omnipotent but He’s really bad with money.

I mean… is that the real problem with all this? Whether or not he’s using a burner phone to look at porn?

Most of the people he knows are Republicans, so okay.

And whats he going to do with it without a bank account?

So…he’s admitting to purposely thwarting the will of his god by trying to fight this?
WTF?

Genesis 9:16 “The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”

Not only did God make a convenant with humans not to destroy them before judgement day, but they chose a freakin’ rainbow to do it!!! God is non-binary at least.

ETA: I never really got the beauty of this verse before. God is not just saying that the rainbow is there as a reminder to humans that he won’t use deadly force, but as a reminder to itself. Love is everywhere.

God is everywhere- therefore there can’t be more god.

And America wasn’t in the Bible- so god doesn’t care about it. America just isn’t part of god’s plan. Trying to make it so is trying to work against god’s plan- which would be a very serious sin indeed.

Some take that as a cautionary warning.

“God gave Noah the rainbow sign, No more water, the fire next time.”

However, I doubt Johnson would agree with what they thought needed repenting.

That stuck me too! Like he’s admitting what he really fears is that God’s will might not align with his own.

I hope that one or more of his grandchildren end up gay or bi and marry a same-sex partner. Then HE’s the asshole at Thanksgiving dinner.

i mean, now i’m not so sure. all the other stuff seems cool by me, so i guess actually i do?

( never trust a religion who’s god can’t handle getting mocked. all powerful, but can’t handle jokes is not a good scene. )

“I mean it, i’ve seen ALL of it, and you don’t want to see it. I’ll just be over here watching it all for you… so you don’t have to…”

That checks out. Their God has been and always remains money. The rest of it is just bullshit to get re-elected so they can force their narrowly chosen bigotries upon the rest of us.

nnnope. but I am certain they both have a second phone. you know your “christians” when you know them… right!?! /s

depraved

It’s always projection, isn’t it.

Just being him and believing the things he believes is as good a definition of depraved as any other.
