Oh boy indeed.
Oh boy indeed.
I LOLed.
The 'vid don’t care if it’s genderized, infantilized, analyzed. Vid is as vid does.
A capitalism hell, clearly. When the market and filling the pockets fo the wealthy are more important than people, it’s a capitalism hell. And at the same time, a capitalist’s heaven.
‘Nazareth. Jesus of Nazareth. And you would be, Judas Pence?’
Judas ‘thirty silver’ Pence.
Don’t worry, I’ll wish in your place.
Pence would have been a Sadducee.
Bloomberg reported that Pence would be self-isolating too, but he has denied it and reportedly told those attending a roundtable with him to remove their masks for the event.
If I didn’t know any better, I’d say this was another one of the administration’s loyalty tests.
Weirdly, they seem to think that loyalty can be demanded and uni-directional, rather than a bidirectional exchange based on trust and respect.
Only the Rabbi had the balls to say no.
I bet he was thinking “My people have seen every variation of this trick”.
No, no we will not, I suspect. This may go down as the moment American exceptionalism died.
Well duh! I can’t believe it took that long.
I work for Whole Foods Market. My store, located just outside Philadelphia, is one of the largest on the east coast. Lots of employees, lots of customers, lots of deliveries, etc… We have been open since the beginning of the pandemic and so far not one employee has contracted the coronavirus. NOT ONE! Why? Probably because from the very beginning we took it seriously and did everything the experts told us to do. We are still doing all those things and will continue to do them for foreseeable future. (In fact we’re pretty fanatical about it.)
It’s not rocket science folks. (Even if it was they have first hand access to the actual scientists!) But apparently no one in the White House wears a mask, there’s no social distancing. So whatever…f*cking idiots.
Stay safe!
Yep. And if the former, that implies that it’s based on fear… which makes me wonder why they’ve decided to keep themselves in the path of the train.
… and fanatical.
It was a response to this part of the prior post.
Agreed! He could have been a Pharisee too, as both sects thought themselves morally and religiously superior to everyone else.
Very old:
“I belong to a faith.
You belong to a sect.
They belong to a cult.”
