The response from the opposing side is interesting. Bernie Sanders (most popular tweet of any politician Democrat or Republican on the debate)
Hillary Clinton was the second highest tweet, however, her tweet was vastly less popular than Bernie Sanders (I think about 4-5 times less). She just babbled on about sending her more money. I won’t link to it here – she gets enough unwarranted attention already.
We have them in GA, too. I generally vote in the Democratic primary though. Still… If we end up with a Trump for president… The grass is looking greener elsewhere.
Not really “guitar slinging.” Sometimes ukulele slinging… I’m the worst kind… I just study the stuff professionally - as a kind of political economy, even!
Sadly, I missed Megyn Kelly’s question to Trump about his mutterings about women, and as much as I would expect FOX/Ailes to want Trump out of the race so as not to further fragment the bag of crazy the conservative movement has become, given that he’s a ratings magnet I’m also a little surprised FOX would want him to go elsewhere.
However, it appears he insulted a white lady and boy howdy the seventh seal has been broken. The hardcore lunatics are still supporting him (“she was agitating/attacking him”, “he says what we all want to say”, “Kelly should just get some thicker skin”, etc…hmm…gonna go wash my hands and face after that), but I wonder if this is his high-water political mark?
I don’t know whether to hope he’ll stay around just so it helps shine a light on the shitty things he says in conjunction with the conservative mindset, or to hope he fades rapidly in a shitstorm of buffoonish denials and repeated attacks against anyone who will still speak to him.
Apologies for the confusion. That whole rant was @-Donald, he’s the guitar slinger. Among other scholarly talents, I see you as more of a slurper-slinger. And when it comes to the question of “where was Rock and Roll invented?” I don’t have to ask which side are you on.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has ended his relationship with Roger Stone, his longest-serving political adviser and a controversial consultant…
A devotee of all things Richard M. Nixon, Stone went so far as to tattoo the former president’s grinning face on his back.
