That’s one of the things that makes him so despicable. It’s clear that he will say or do anything that gives him an advantage or cause a perceived opponent/rival even mild annoyance. If someone offered him enough money or power, he’d be happy to flip completely over from neo-Nazi to Tankie.

I mean, decades-long racist and POTUS who serves (besides business interests) a racist minority making a white supremacist gesture? What’s so surprising?
OTOH, there’s a mystery. Many, if not most of Donnie’s gestures are effeminate. So maybe he was making one of those in the clip, not a white supremacy gesture. Which isn’t to say he isn’t a racist piece of shit of a failed human being, but still. Ambiguity here. But if it was meant as a white supremacy thing, how can anyone be surprised?
