According to the latest on ABC News, the count in the House is now R-214 to D-207, leaving 14 seats uncalled. The Republicans only need to pick up four of those seats to take the House, but almost all of the uncalled races are in pink districts in California that still have a ton of votes left to count.
If the Republicans win every race that they are currently leading, that will put them at 220 seats, but that outcome is far from set in stone.
Andrew Torba, who runs the far-right social media site Gab, sent out a newsletter declaring that democracy is illegitimate because āthe Godless unmarried whores of Babylon select your leaders so they can continue to slaughter their children.ā

I mean, I hope the Democrats can hold the houseā¦ but most likely, the GOP is going to get the one or two seats they need for a majorityā¦ I do think that McCarthy is not going to be able to get anything done, because heās not going to be able to hold the caucus together. No expert I, but he is a former military contractor, did some time after crossing the wrong guys, is a real leftist, as opposed to the right-wing boogie monster leftists, and is almost as hard on the Dems as he is on the Fascists. I think he is about the most cogent commentator currently working, and have learned a ton from his vids.
