One thing that could have really blown a hole in this entire business is if Zelensky basically backed Trump and said, “No, you’re all misunderstanding.” That does not appear to be the direction Ukraine is going.

I read Ashley Feinberg’s piece on that last night. It’s a hell of a trip. Who’d have guessed that the biggest giveaway would be the fact that it was filmed in the room (or a recreation of it) following a renovation which took place after the date on which the tape was supposedly made? (spoiled because if you’re even remotely interested in going down this rabbit hole, the surprise turn at the end is worth running into blind).
This feels like a really bad leak.

People are saying that Trump has issued death threats against the whistleblower or one of the people who talked to them. I guess that means Trump is calling it treason?
He was dropping the word ‘spies’ earlier than this article drop so, he’s probably known something about who the whistleblower might be.
