I just heard on the radio on the drive home that Trump canceled his address for tonight and Iran has basically said, “we won’t retaliate further if you don’t” so maybe cooler heads will actually prevail in the end. Let’s see if there really are any adults in the room with Trump.

I doubt that Schiff has swallowed the Kool-Aid. The ersatz balm of “thoughts and prayers” is meant for right-wing and fence-sitting dullards who respond to that crap, and just a slap-on to his argument as to the new and totally unnecessary danger posed to service members, etc. Whatever works in getting through to the aforementioned dullards.
