Trump also tried to suppress military votes, had already cut base daycare, insulted those serving/veterans/fallen, and let an entire aircraft carrier succumb to plague and did nothing. If anything the military would probably eject him from office ahead of time and be done with him.

Before lockdown and working from home, we would see many, many examples of the military at EAFB and AFRL holding events (ex: selling T-shirts/mugs/challenge coins) to raise cash for soldiers/families in need and asking for people to donate sick-leave time to those who were ill and needed the hours. As far as the day-care issue, one of the young civilian AF engineers we worked with would often have to bring her infant child with her to our work site office.

Germans who were in the resistance who had relatives who were “early adopters” of Nazism were reported by their relatives and faced the usual repercussions - imprisonment, torture, death.

Yeah, that chain of Command has to be cosmetic in the future. No untrained civilian or otherwise, should be able to command the country’s military default of office. Fuck that noise for ever more.
