First though, I don’t understand your columns. I’ll admit to never being a math whiz, though, so some tutoring might be in order. I read it as though the first column is my odds of avoiding being hit at all, and the second column is my odds of being hit once, and the third hit by two or more. My problem comes from when I get further down the column, I have way more than 100% of something happening and it makes me feel a bit like this dude’s cat I once heard about that was both alive and dead at the same time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally into body modifications, but this one might be a bit beyond me…

That Penny is messing with the wrong lobster. I reckon I’ve got about a 1 in 3 chance of surviving this mission but that doesn’t faze me, I’ve won slug race bets with longer odds.

I think the extra HP is concentrated on the billiken that I’ve moved from the dash to the figurehead on the overthruster’s prow, my faith in the Billi shall guide me.
I’m ok with a ship selecting mission 4 as a defensive mission. In that case, the ships sided with the Penny will duel with anyone who takes it as a defensive mission. If they get past you, they’ll disrupt the other captain’s mission. If they don’t, your mission was successful. You’ll get different rewards.
What changed? They’re picking a captain to antagonize. While most of us think of ourselves as “Haulage Transfer Specialists” you had to declare yourself an Alpha Captain and a “Pick Up Artist.” Don’t blame the cargo or the competition. You get what you signed up for.
