Birds Aren't Real group holds rally in Springfield, Missouri

I thought the same thing about Q until recently.

Yeah, you can find a “dead bird.” But, why could you find one? Obviously, because it was planted. And, unsurprisingly, the planted bird has organic material— but it never lived, nor was capable of living. They take the organs of other species, throw it in a carcass, let decomposition do its work, and simple people like you use it as “evidence.” (There is your answer as to “why?”)

I would so love to see a BIRDS ARENT REAL banners flying among all the dumb QAnon and 45th-POTUS banners at a Mike Lindell rally or during Trump’s upcoming December “We Lost Bigly Tour” with Bill O’Reilly. BAR is just fringe/unknown enough that you could get away with it with a straight face that you were sincere. And later, in all media photos, the satiric-crazy BAR banner would be seen flying with the actual-crazy 45th-POTUS banners. It would be epic.

Hmmm, so by this group’s logic, my bird feeders should be a tax write off, right? :face_with_monocle:
Gonna get my legal eagle on the case.

I beg your pardon…
What madness is this?

ETA:

Not proving you wrong… all birds are dinosaurs.
But not all dinosaurs are birds.
It would be interesting to see what they actually looked like., and sounded like, and acted.

I love how competent these conspiracy theorists think groups of people are. We need to promote them to project management to divest them of this belief.

And how would that play out? They’d get promoted and end up in the C-suite, that’s how.

Come on, not even Trumpsters are this stupid, I hope.

They not bipartisan.

I agree with the facts here, but believe you are missing the larger narrative. Sentient, “alive”, or not, the birds are still cooperating with the elite to surveil all of us! Until that changes I will always say “Birds aren’t real”.

No one will convinve me this isn’t a bunch of real birds:

It’s an absurdist Reddit sub, with my guess is thousands of people that enjoy the absurdity of it for every person that may have an unsound reasoning process. Currently there are greater than 387,000 subscribers to that Reddit thread, and looking around I don’t see an true disbelievers, that isn’t to say there are not a few people that believe in some sort of bird based surveillance.

My guess is that it was partly spawned by the Peter Serafinowicz bit below, “But what is water? It’s a difficult question because water is impossible to describe. One might ask the same about **birds, what are birds? We just will never know.”

Source: from: *Look Around You : season 1, (2001/2 pilot episode?), clip found on YouTube, posted by user FlatFootHero on 2011 08 12, see also Birds Arn’t Real, Boingboing, 2019 09 12 by Rob Beschizza

Before you dismiss this as one reason that Birds Arn’t Real started, in the same episode of Look Around You, they thank ants. Many a happy mutant here has said or at least thought, “Thants.”

It is interesting that the same BoingBoing topic, written by two different authors, separated by just a few years has such a different tone, but that is to be expected in this post QAnon world. We have to worry about the nutters. (It would have been a better article if the author had referenced and contrasted the previous BoingBoing article.)

Fear of robot birds or spy birds is real:

There are so many more news stories and articles about spy birds, robotic birds, etc…, so people with poor critical thinking skills could gravitate towards an absurdist idea like this, but I still think that it is by in large. And, like BoingBoing, there is even BirdsAren’tReal.com merch (no affiliate link); the site takes it’s self seriously in the history section, but for me it reads as satire and parody.

Then again, I could be part of the disinformation campaign.
Note: to the secret totally competent yet somehow incompetent overlords, I am still waiting for my chem trail, area 51, and Birds Arn’t Real checks- seriously, checking sources and posting takes time.

It is definitely satire.
Those people are mocking conspiracy theorists, and having a great time doing it.

I dont know why but that quote reminds me of the “How Am I Not Myself?” loop from I Heart Huckabees… [a movie I’ve watched numerous times and never tire of]

Dead birds prove nothing! Clearly the government just has some shipped in from other countries and scatters them around!

(I am impressed that this is “all birds”, not just say “the ones that land on power lines”, it makes the conspiracy work much harder as opposed to just waving hands and saying “most birds” so any inconvenient facts can be waved away as “oh you just found one of the real birds”)

I love this. I assume this is a well conceived joke and that the more this sort of stuff lures in the feeble-minded, the more they can be shamed back into the dark recesses of the FBI’s domain.
