Basically. But a little more predestinationy, and with the idea that God requires people like Trump to do superficially bad or evil things. Less “guided by internal belief” than “literally controlled by God”. Sometimes “literal embodiment of God”. Its creepily Messianic.

Nothing Xtian about the GOP. Just the delusions of billions but if one actually studied the religion or, I should say, sects, variants, etc., outside the prosperity gospel, nothing any Xtian should even tolerate.

I think that more generally accounts for a lot of right wing support for the guy. And you can see a lot of that in the GOP handling of Impeachment thus far. Those motherfuckers are just shouting whatever will male people angry and high fiving each other for it. The raw smugness of their handling is the most startling thing about it.
For the large proportion of Evangelicals who buy into this shit I think it goes deeper. Trump made a concerted effort to visit all the right people and organizations, and gain their blessing, using carefully coded language drawn from this trend, to sell himself to these people. Not neccisarily as one of them. But as the thing they were looking for.
First at Manafort’s direction and later through Pence (its what he’s for) he actively presented himself to these people as the most significant and important of these sanctified figures.
So it’s not just that he’s “their guy” based on partisanship (like with the Mormons), he’s gonna dunk on the libs, or that he tells them all their hate is good and right. And it doesn’t even matter if he’s actually a believer or Christian.
He’s the earthly embodiment of Hateful Jesus, and whether he knows it or believes it or not. He’s gonna make all their heinous wishes come true.

Trump rely a lot on his charisma, and I don’t see Pence picking up on that, he’s way too bland for the Trumpers crowd. Hopefully.

Like, say, rip them away from their parents and throw them into a cold cell. That would cause most kids to have a rather jaundiced view of the incarcerator. Of course, they don’t care about that, they are not white kids and therefore not of “the chosen race.” 
I used to make this all the time in college. Pour pasta sauce into a baking dish. Crack a bunch of eggs into it. Sprinkle cheese and herbs on tops. BAKE! Sometimes I left the eggs solid as in your photo. Sometimes I tried mixing the eggs and the sauce to get a tomato/quiche sort of dish that was more solid.
I never knew it was a pre-existing dish. So cool.
