The areas left to count are overwhelmingly Dem. By more than enough to close that gap.
But it ain’t over till it’s over.

Yep, which was, I think, @prooftheory 's point.
Fingers crossed then.
That didn’t take long:
With 200k to come in from DeKalb 80+% Dem
Let’s not get too excited. They are still counting votes.
Aye; I refuse to do the nail-biting dance.
There’ll be time enough for dealin’, once the countin’s done.
Mostly in largely Dem leaning areas, no?
Warnock is killing it.
I don’t know if that’s the case, but it could be - I hope that’s the case.
I’m just not going to get too excited and then be disappointed. For the next couple of years not being obstructionist bullshit from mcconnell, they both need to win. I said this before… Warnock was the easier sell to GA, by a country mile. Being the pastor of Dr. King’s church carries a great deal of weight, even for moderate republicans. Ossoff is the weaker candidate, so he’s the one I’m worried about.
I’m not celebrating yet, but I am hopefully excited. Excitedly hopeful. Whatever!
I’m very hopefully, too, of course. But I’m also tensing for another gut punch just in case, so…
That’s wise; I’m ‘bracing my abs’ right along with you…
Really wish they’d stop counting urban areas last.
Arrrgh!
First black senator from my great state! I’m pretty excited about that.
More people voted early, by mail, and there is just, well, more people in Dekalb and Fulton. Fulton is the biggest county in the state with over a million people. It’s not that they’re counting them last, just that it takes longer to count than say Floyd, which has less than 100,000 people.
