A list of rules that Chuck Jones and Michael Maltese made for every classic Looney Tunes cartoon short with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote.
I thought at some point they introduced dialogue by the Coyote? Am I mis-remembering that?
They have broken or bent some of the rules, but I donât think that one. He does talk â but only when he is paired with Bugs Bunny, not in the Road Runner cartoons.
Thatâs a monologue?
Coyote definitely spoke sometimes.
Only time I remember him talking was with the sheep dog when they were clocking in and clocking out. Might have been a different coyote, though.
Thatâs Ralph Wolf. He has a different color nose.
Somebody should make a movie where the Coyote sues the ACME corporation. Iâd watch it in a heartbeat

They could have Muttley on the jury sniggering at each fresh humiliation Wile E outlined. Pause for a best as Wile looks over at him and continues.
Is it me or could that set of rules work with Wile E Coyote replaced by the Republican Party?
Huh, never realized the bird was always on a road.

Mother Randle and Mother Fletcher have seen so much.
Thank you for telling us. For reminding us. All of us.
Roadbird just doesnât roll of the tongue like roadman, itâs trueâŚ
Hero!

He plans to visit Rivendell after his party.
