GOP Senate candidate says women have the right to make him a "home cooked dinner every night at six"

She looks like she just took on at least four bullies because she wouldn’t put up with their crap anymore.
And won.

Oh, I think she is very feminine.

I love Rockwell’s attention to human details. Note the look on the face of the woman in the office: you just know she wants to burst out laughing in support of the little girl even though she can’t. The “not her again” look on the principal’s face is priceless, too.

I agree, but it’s not exactly the same. Deliberately provoking women, a percentage of which vote conservative normally, seems like a terrible strategy to win an election.

Unless you count on a shocking number of them having apartments in Stockholm, if you follow.

I mean, the majority of white women in this country (the ones most likely to vote conservative) voted for a man who basically admitted to sexual assault on tape, so it can’t be that awful of a strategy…

It’s OK because he promises to protect us from the “Manophobic Feminist She-Devils.”

If all this moron has said was “I like to come home to a nice drink and dinner on the table, and my SO knows this, so she makes sure to do it for me…AND…I know she likes it too, so we swap days and make sure one of us is taking care of the other when they get home late.” You could be completely on his side on that. Who doesn’t like coming home to dinner ready to go?

It is of course all the other nonsense and his clear dickish misogyny that of course gets in the way. Foolish us for not focusing on the important part. /s

“Manophobic Feminist She-Devils.”

That’s quite the taxonomy. Should be on the next census form.

So basically it’s the usual authoritarian’s mantra of “they’re taking away my freedom to take away other peoples freedoms”.

Nah. That look still screams right-wing tool.

@MaiqTheLiar: That could be a good band name.

One more Rockwell reference. Has anyone noticed that the guy screaming at his wife for choosing a “New Deal”-supporting Democratic candidate in the 1948 painting Election Day looks eerily like that one white supremacist creep from the Charlottesville rally?

I feel like there’s just something in the water in MO. Probably lead.

I have to say, I have never seen that painting before. But must say that my appreciation for Norman Rockwell just went up like a million %.

Then I did a little follow up research and found this one he did. Holy Shit!

Southern Justice (Murder in Mississippi), 1965.

Am I the only one who finds the mixture of white supremacist and loli loving pedophile insanely goofy?

It actually made me contemplate how good of a predictor anime avatars and loli references have become for random internet people being nazis.
