The anchor said the testimony proves that Democrats on the committee who have suggested the country was close to an overturned presidential election in 2020 are wrong.

Yes, but I think heās getting ready to try to screw trump and save himself. Heās a petty, petty man. And heās going to have a hard time here in Alabama politics going forward. Aside from Tommy Tuberville, there probably isnāt a state-level politician more disliked by the Alabama Republican establishment than Mo Brooks. So this could be the beginning of āburning down the house with him inside.ā

Tubervilleās sin was that when he went in, he picked staffers from outside the Alabama Republican establishment/pipeline. He ignored the state party bosses, and did his own thing. Along with being dumber than a bag of nails, heās committed an unforgivable sin.
