Is there any adult left on the GOP side to step forward at all?
Without at least a few, I’m not sure what is possible at all. I think we’re in for a long haul of watching the same vote again and again and again. Perhaps until someone messes up by mistake and reduces the threshold to win.

This is yet another demonstration of the fact that there are too many in the GOP now who do not care about rules/regulations, government, or democracy in general. The rest are enablers. So I don’t blame anyone who does care about those things for expressing contempt or amusement while watching them trip all over themselves. Yes, the consequences are serious. However, this very public display of incompetence has been a long time coming…
… and this time the brats in the room can’t cover it up or deny their involvement. 
He just voted McCarthy. A number of people didn’t answer or were out of the room for the first call.
Other than two folks switching from Donalds to Hern this vote was the same as the others.
And that’s vote 8 folks? Will we get past 9 and lap the 1923 vote! Only time will tell!
That’s unfortunate. I’m still holding out hope that after a 4 hour meal break, 11 (or more) GOP do not return. Perhaps to drunk to realize the time has passed. That may be the best hope to this ending in a timely manner.

This implies that Sean Hannity could end this on the next vote. If he scheduled a panel discussion with 11 GOP and then just kept them all live on the air. Nobody wanting to leave while the camera is on. He wouldn’t like that ending, so it’s just a dream.

They should mix it up and do the roll call in reverse for one of the votes. Give the end of the alphabet a start. Put the A, B, C people at the end for one round.
Because McCarthy can’t be trusted to uphold a promise to share a stick of bubblegum, let alone a promise on governance or legislation.

Has anyone seen it mentioned what concessions or demands the far right members are asking for in return for their votes? Is that all happening behind closed doors? I keep seeing articles and headlines saying they are talking but no one explaining what they want…
