MAGA fan outside indictment proves boxes are not really in Donald Trump's bathroom (video)

I’ll bet he stiffed the contractor.

I’m glad!

That can go either way, yeah? People can end up with much happier lives or with worse ones… but I think rarer are people who know what they want and end up with exactly that!

And throws food against walls. Yes, he’s a filthy creature.

… so God would advance the Rapture by an hour for Daylight Saving Time?

Almost twenty years before that one, we had something similar in Chicago. I kept one of the pamphlets as it was hilariously bad:

I wonder how many of the people that got taken in by this one lined up to be taken in by H. Camping?

OMG! MAGA fans are beginning to grieve for Trump. What is usually considered the first stage of grief according to the Elisabeth Kubler-Ross model is Denial.

Even MAGAts realize Trump is through.

That is amazing. And I love how they talk about the “day” and yet don’t specify one.

“Who can know god’s will?”, right?!

That’s how it goes with cults. If anything the leader says is disturbing or incomprehensible, the problem is with you. You need to study harder until you understand why what you in your ignorance thought was immoral is actually the highest morality.

Me too. He’s a snotty New York billionaire who inherited his money, he constantly shafts people who work for him - especially people in the trades and contractors who actually work with their hands and is always telling you that he is smarter than anyone else. The worst are the evangelical Christians - he is everything they say they hate*.

Christ almighty, he’s the anti-Christ.

  • Well, he does hate a lot of people they hate too.

Nope. Quite a few are bigots who get off on the empowerment to hurt people they consider less then. They understand that he and his are idiots, but they give them the power to do what they dream of doing. So, the MAGAts reward that with fervid loyalty.

About half of it is just word salad nonsense, really. There’s some references to barcodes there, other vague rambling, and some of the standard religious end of the world trope tripe thrown in for good measure. Even now when I dig it out of my old scrapbook I find myself shaking my head and muttering “you really need an editor …”

With this kind of thing I always have a bit of fun trying to determine if it’s a purposeful scam or if the promoters actually believe what they’re saying. I suspect it’s like any other Ponzi scheme – those at the top know it’s all bullshit, but the people they sucker into it are True Believers.

(Edit for verb / noun agreement purposes.)

Nope, he’s not; there was never any ‘false world peace’, for any length of time.

I agree. But the people who believe in the anti-Christ can’t seem to see that someone like Trump would be that. It’s all so baffling.

They’re cherry picking, “believing” whatever they want.

Having served my time with the Pentecostal born-again zealots, I know their lore just as well as any thumper.

The antichrist is supposed to ‘unite the world’, lulling it into a false sense of security before “Armageddon” goes down.

45 only unites bigoted lunatics…

What if this IS the Rapture and the angels couldn’t find anybody among those who believe in it, who was godly enough to actually be bodily taken up to heaven?

Seems legit.

Little boxes in the bathroom
Little boxes made of cardboard
Little boxes, little boxes
Little boxes all the same

There’s a white one and another white one
And a scuffed one and a pristine one
And they’re all full of secret stuff
And they all look just the same

And the papers in the boxes
All went walkies from secure locations
And they all get put in boxes
Little boxes all the same

And there’s valets and there’s lawyers
And a body man
And they all handle all the boxes
And they all look inside

And they all work at the golf resort
And they all drink the diet coke
And they all work for an asshole
And they all think that’s fine

And the lawyers all write affidavits
And then go to court
And the valets hide some boxes
And they all come out the same

Little boxes in the bathroom
Little boxes in the ballroom
Little boxes in the basement
Little boxes all the same

There’s a white one, and another white one
And another white one and another white one
And they’re all full of secret stuff
And they all look just the same

I was unaware of this. Why am I not surprised that Christianity has a baked-in defense to sabotage world peace in the unlikely event people started actually getting along with each other… :face_exhaling:

This isn’t “Christianity”. It’s a small evangelical cult that only exists in the US (with small pockets elsewhere where they have managed to proselytise).

The whole rapture thing as it is understood now was only invented in the 1830s and never really left American shores. It’s just how some cowboys thought the bible worked.
