Well, he has been hospitalized, but that might be easy enough to fake too. :woman_shrugging:

I worked as a radiology film library clerk during college, and this basically sums it up.

When anti-maskers refuse to disclose their condition (as if they actually had one), that’s their right but they don’t really have HIPAA laws to rely on.

HIPAA’s about keeping your info safe. You wouldn’t believe how often people without power of attorney or any interest as a medical provider try to grab someone’s records or x-rays for custody battles, lawsuits, or what have you. I even had to shout a physician down over the phone because his office hadn’t sent the patient-signed release form when requesting x-rays.

Did anyone else have the reaction that this particular piece of news shouldn’t be trusted completely given who actually made the announcement?

Likely not, but without Rudy maybe they’ll find a way to lose more slowly.

Not necessarily. Without the Rudy Giulianis and the Sydney Powells who are willing to throw their law licenses away for the promise of that sweet, sweet grift, there may not be anyone willing to carry this methane-scented torch.

I mean at this point, if we’re not going to trust it because Trump said it, we might as well just not read news. All the news networks seem to do nowadays is wait for him to say something, and then run stories about what he said and stories about why what he said is dumb. Just look at CNN’s website a few times a day, and it’s all “Trump said this” and “Opinion: Trump said 10 dumb things” and “Opinion: RNC must surely be getting tired of Trump saying things like this”

Alas, while Rudy’s COVID test was positive, his IQ test came back negative. Oh well. I recall an old saying: “It’s better to be Wasserman Positive than never to have loved at all.”

Soon they’ll be saying only true patriots get the covid.

“Rudy hospitalized with Covid”

It is equally true to say that Covid was hospitalised with Rudy.

Kurt Vonnegut Jr couldn’t have written it better.

It’s like the alky who bragged, “Every bug that ever bit me DIED!”

They called for the Mayo Clinic to send a specialist to help treat Rudy. They must’ve dialed the wrong number, though – they got a BLT (with mayo) delivered to his hospital room instead.

Excerpt: …George Takei adding that Rudy Giuliani “filed a lawsuit with the lab demanding the results be overturned.”

Can’t pardon COVID

Let MAGA eat itself. But stand aside because it’s going to vomit at some point.

Maybe I’m just getting old, or perhaps it’s the psilocybe azurescens we recently discovered on the farm that I’ve been micro dosing all weekend, but I actually feel kinda sorry for the old guy. He believed all that “America’s Mayor” bullshit after 9/11 and now that he’s getting older his brain just seems to be melting like my father’s did as he began to deteriorate with age, but in this case no one seems to be there to reign him in. Perhaps I don’t comprehend the end game or full impact of his legal battles, but to me he just seems pathetic with his efforts not really seeming to to have any effect on the actual world. He’s an ass, and I certainly don’t mean to defend or excuse him, but to die alone on a ventilator seems a penalty so much worse then his recent buffoonery warrants. I want blood for the damage done in the past four years and beyond, but his just doesn’t seems worthy.

He’ll still have wi-fi though.
