Losing slowly, like he has been throughout and will continue to do so. 55:45 down in pledged delegates, plus those pesky superdelegates. He’ll win West Virginia and Oregon, but will probably lose California, and that’ll just about be it, bar the shouting. I guess he’ll lose Kentucky too?
Hopefully he and his delegates will at least help shape the platform and the VP candidate.
You’re libertarian-leaning, right? I guess Clinton’s really not your candidate…
I find it hard to think of Obama as someone who’s goal is to destroy America, or Clinton as someone who’s running maliciously somehow.
Shit is broken, yes. That’s on Congress and the folks who’re intentionally breaking it. That’s why Bernie’s downticket is more important than Bernie himself.
Thanks for the info. I will say that many of the calls are political, either directly for candidates at all levels or PACs, which are less likely to be from overseas. Still, it’s interesting to learn that Indiana (of all places?!) has a law against this.
As a teacher I occasionally have a problem student that I nonetheless have high hopes for. Someone who, deep down, I know will never be the best in their class but I still want to help be the best they CAN be, because it takes all kinds and you never know who will surprise you some day. And sometimes that student turns in work that just makes me want to grab them by the shoulders, look them in the eye and ask “are you seriously claiming that’s the best you can do?”
That’s how I feel about the Republican Party today.
I would too, but I also wholeheartedly agree with his statement that “on her worst day, Hillary would be a better President than [Cruz or Trump] on their best day.”
So if you respect Bernie then “I’ll never vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination!” isn’t really the way to go.
Clinton wants to keep driving straight ahead, nevermind that the road ahead turns and we’re heading for a cliff.
Cruz wants to jerk the wheel to the right and throw us off a cliff edge as soon as possible.
Trump has no idea how to drive a bus. He just wants to play with the controls, and wants attention. If he has to toss grenades at random passengers to get that attention, he will.
…I admit the metaphor kind of falls apart. Oh well.
