Yeah, it’s “go ahead”, but it sounds pretty much like “good” – and the thing is, this being Trump, nobody is surprised that he would say that!

That’s where we’ll have to disagree. Just because they ratcheted Trumpy’s meds from rabid to mellow-with-flashes-of-anger didn’t make this a debate.
Imagine a high school debating competition where one teams lies and presents falsehoods as every argument. The moderator would call out obvious lies. I don’t blame last night’s moderator, she did better than the last two, but the amount of lies put forth by Trumpy was staggering. He is bereft of ideas and did not discuss any. Trumpy was a shit show.
Biden managed to promote ideas, refute some obvious lies, and speak directly to the American people. The people who don’t care about qualifications also don’t care about facts. Having Biden respond to everyone of Trumpy’s falsehoods is just playing his game. Biden’s responses were great. Getting a few more zingers in wouldn’t have made any difference.

I saw that exchange and was gobsmacked, the moreso because it was not commented upon. I suspect the folks in real time were going “No, he could not possibly have said what I just heard him say.” I am still disbelieving and I heard it live.

Santorum is a complete tool. He’s just there as a court jester and someone for Van Jones to play with. I hate hearing him, but at the same time, he’s such a tool that it’s easy to dismiss him as such.

My daughter asked me why she had never seen Trump before (she is 4 and went with us to vote. Many questions since). I told her watching him made me too angry. Which led to explaining I was angry with him because he is very selfish and spends most of his time making sure other people get hurt.
Fast forward 10 minutes and she asks her father if she can see a picture of trump. She sees him and says “That’s him?” With a disgusted look on her face. Then “no more picutres. I’m supermad at him too.”
I fully expect her teachers will be told she is “super mad” at trump several times today.
