Trump deletes post that describes mainstream media as "enemy of the American people."

IMPOTUS perhaps?

But when do we the people get to delete this twit?

The real Nazis called it “Lügenpresse” (lying press)…

Everything old is new again…

Volksfeinde, eh? Seriously, what is WRONG with that guy?

Just think of the way you pronounce worst or hurt. It’s close enough. I think ü might be trickier.

But it is STILL ON HIS TWITTER FEED! You should check things before posting something…especially something so simple.

How dare they not report something that hadn’t yet happened. Disappointed?

He didn’t delete it because it would be embarrassing for the "Leader of the Free World"™ to tweet such fascist dreck. No, he deleted it because he wanted to expand on his enemies list.

i’m convinced* the real reason he doesn’t want to release his tax returns is not ties with russia, it’s that he has stakes in all the major news networks.
it’s all about the ratings.

(* serious not serious. )

will we heed our action, stations and other resources

I dunno, I definitely found ü (y in the languages I was interested in) way easier for whatever reason. I could totally see it just being a personal quirk, though.

because he doesn’t read much, but is said to watch cable news religiously.

which is "ridiculous*. to think that the one person with access to the most extensive intelligence agencies in the world would watch cable news to find out what’s going on.

let me introduce you to my friend, mr. bot. ( i hope. )

Hang on here a minute

If the press is the enemy of the American people…and the press is not His enemy…

Is he admitting to not being American?

Yeah, personal quirks are probably a big deal. My last ex insisted on calling the Zwiebel (onion) “Zweibel” and I could never get that out of him. Who knows. Another big deal seems to be the german “ch”, as in the end of my nickname. English speakers always want to say it like “tsch”, since the throaty “ch” just doesn’t exist there.

Well blacks aren’t going to get into Mar-A-Lago by themselves either.

I mean, can most Americans pronounce ö?

Its not hard to get pretty close:
Goebbels loves gerbils.

It was like Rand Paul had never taken a modern history class and so had only ever read the name in print. He pronounced it like “pebbles.”

Get over yourselves journalistic snowflakes…

George W Bush had both the highest and lowest approval ratings of any president, at 90% and 22%. Truman tied him for lowest at 22%.

Ö is definitely trickier than ü. American English has nothing like either sound, but some forms of British English have a sound approaching ü. The way I describe it is ü is like ew but in one vowel, ö is like eur but also in one vowel, and ä is like e or ay depending on context. Confused yet?
