Every country of every actual foreign-born person who committed an act of terrorism in the US is missing from the list. They’re not even pretending this makes sense.
But how would that look? He couldn’t say he wasn’t making any money off the presidency, and people might notice that he hasn’t even handed control of his businesses to his kids like he said he did!

Avoiding dehumanization isn’t just about being fair to those dehumanized. It is also about remembering that this is a thing that humans do. Humans are frequently horrible to each other. Eliding that leads to much easier othering in the minds of those who dehumanized.
