Totally doesn’t exist. Obviously, QAnon is a false flag created by the child sacrificing lucifarians that control the world through the Democratic party. /s
The red flag of Marxism and the black flag of anarchism do not represent liberalism. Most of the Marxists and anarchists I know would be insulted if someone called them a liberal, or they might laugh at that persons political naivety.
Well enough that I was talking to Antifa groups ten years ago. Not all antifascist groups are Antifa. You could make the argument that the Iron Front are Antifa too, but there has been some intentional distance between the two even after the 1920s and 30s. Antifa tends to do what the Iron Front can’t or won’t. That is not a bad thing, Antifa just does things differently.
I could go into the internal fights that led to the splits in the Anti-Nazi league and Anti-Fascist Action in the UK, which led to the British Antifa groups, but I think I have made my point.
Yes, I’m fairly certain that @anon73430903 has a very high understanding of what antifa is, was, and likely, will be. In my experience, they are one of the most knowledgeable posters here about radical politics.
First rule of Qanon
Don’t talk about qanon
I don’t see any rioters in the room with me right now
How can I know for sure that anything outside this room even exists
“I reject your argument because solipsism”
If they can replace Biden with a clone, who is also guilty of Biden’s crimes and will also be executed for them, then who’s to say that all the people on GreatAwakening are not also clones
Not from this mother-Tucker, according to Fox News’s court filings.
Well, I’m pretty sure he has never seen one.
Thanks, I’m familiar with the Anti-Nazi League, in particular, because of the growing issues here in the U.K. during the ‘70’s and the violence taking place at gigs with skinheads, which was odd, due to their like of black music, like Ska and reggae. I’m pretty much centrist, but vehemently anti-Fascist, what we over here would call a Liberal, and I guess Antifa by definition, but as pointed out, there are clearly, and obviously, shades of nuance in the groups and individuals who come under the umbrella of Antifa, most of which doesn’t get coverage over here.
It’s thanks to Flipboard and the Boingboing feed I get that I have any kind of grasp , however tenuous, of American politics; and it is tenuous, just when I think I might have just got a handle on things, something else happens that causes the almost obligatory facepalm. Our government is bad enough, but what’s been happening across the pond lately has me thinking that mis-quoting Ozymandias would be appropriate - “Look upon my works, and despair “
I hope this makes some sort of sense, and thanks again for the enlightenment on the subject of Antifa.
It’s funny how Tucker has refined and rebranded his “character” over the years.
When he tried to play intelligent and (someone) compassionate, he just didn’t get the ratings, on neither MSNBC nor Fox. He got stung by people like Jon Stewart when he was silly enough to semi-honestly entertain opposing points of view.
Now that he’s gone full blockhead, fully without empathy, he’s enjoying ratings bonanza on Fox. The Skinner box he’s been in for the last 10+ years has operant conditioned him to perfectly deliver the performance his audience most wants to see.
You really missed Stewart’s point, me thinks…
He was making a broader point about how the media treats politics as a game of red shirts/blue shirts rather than as the serious space it is for working out our collectively problem. Carlson merely took the Crossfire model, doubled down, and cut out the other side so he could have an echo-chamber instead.
So I guess it’s becoming clear that the right-wing’s response to the Capitol Hill attack is to just deny that any of it happened. Great. Reality-denial is taking on new and expanded roles the Republican party these days…
I’ve spent all day trying to locate the “famous” Tucker Carlson. It’s not even a website. Does it really exist?
Whaaaat? Tucker? Surely Tucker “confused dog expression” Carlson would never do that!
Does this look like the face of a man who feigns ignorance?
I am UK based, but have an internationalist attitude regarding antifascism, so I look at what is going on in the USA and mainland Europe.
A lot of what is happening now can be linked to changes in how the far right organised 15-20 years ago. Casa Pound in Italy aren’t really relevant to British or American antifascists now, but they were being watched by antifascists as they travelled round the world teaching younger fascists how to use the internet to recruit and indoctrinate in the mid 2000s. Fascists were joining 4chan while M-Ls were being dismissive about the internet and saying it was a tool of capitalism. We are still dealing with the fallout from that.
My god, this guy is a lying idiot.
ok i know this is stooping low but here we go
“Tucker Carson’s mom doesn’t exist , till you take ten steps back”
“We turned off all the computers, closed the blinds, dosed the lights and closed our eyes but still we could locate no evidence of the existence of QAnon at all!”
